“Cities After Oil”- Atkinson

Adrian Atkinson’s trilogy of articles in CITY, titled “Cities after Oil,” is a must read. It’s good generalist writing (albeit with some faults). Still delving through it, but it’s great. (Resplendent with references to Hubbert, Tainter, Kunstler.)

Behind a purchase wall, so ping me if you need it, it’s a great read. I may just send it out.

More thoughts when I finish it.

Anyone Tracking Former ISI Types?

Anyone who is weeded out as part of the effort to wean the agency of its radical roots, probably has the training, inclination, and imperative to take advantage of the opium money in Western Pakistan. Anyone studying the problem in the open-source world?

Book Reviews

Looking to get on publisher lists – ideally IR and energy texts. Any help would be appreciated. (Would be used in analytical products that are seen by many important policy makers.)
