Idea: Wind-Based Sonic Warfare

Here‘s a very early prototype of a stand alone sonic emitter. This is a wind driven model, designed for deep resonance.

Connected, these could act as sensors as well. Think the sonic system in Lost. Any disturbance in wind flow results in the architecture shifting, changing the emitted frequency. Disturbance deploys drones for real-time information streams, infrared, video, etc. Perhaps initiates a second, high power sonic system to repel or direct attackers to a kill zone.

On Sonic Warfare

This is pretty cool. Bldgblog describes how biomimicry plays a role in the deployment of sonic weapons. Using a network of speakers and an annoying recording (much like PSYOP units use), researchers were able to agitate an infestation of beetles to leave of their own accord.

Sonic weapons are particularly interesting because they can permeate the environment. They are systemic as opposed to firearms as acute-problem-solvers. A properly designed sonic defense system can establish fear vectors, direct flows of traffic, and, overall, shape the environment – much in the same way forts in the past relied on wall to do the same.

A Lack of Ft. Jackson Poison

Donald Sensing, formerly head of CID’s public affairs, .

Stakelback’s a nice enough guy, but the impression I always got was that he was very much out of his depth.

Takeaway on Austin Plane Crash

Another step on the trend line towards a White Plague or Daemon event.

Luckily, Joe Stack was unfamiliar with network warfare.Instead, the only thing to go viral has been his suicide note (reproduced in full in a previous post, now that the source is down).
