NDTV – Sketchy first reports are coming in that Dawood Ibrahim and his field commanders have been arrested by the ISI –
Along with Dawood, his trusted lieutenant Chhota Shakeel and the mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai blasts Tiger Memon have also been taken into custody.
This would make sense if Musharraf wants to buy American protection. Ibrahim and his gang are knee deep in the Taliban driven drug network as well as the AQ Khan nuclear network. Assuming the report is true, selling these three to America should buy him a significant degree of support.
