Excellent Firefox Addons

Webmynd is fantastic for research, wish it sorted by day or category etc though.

Fast Dial makes life a lot easier with tabs, CTRL-T results in my top sites (of my choosing) being displayed in little boxes. Snazzy.

Leave It To The USG…

To classify something as useful as the “National Intelligence Assessment on the National Security Implications of Global Climate Change to 2030.”

This could have connected the green movement with the security imperative, leading to a better understanding of the Resilient Community. Instead, no valuable insight will be generated by internal analysts -refer to the DOE’s energy projections. Meanwhile all the good thinking – a surprising amount of which is conducted online -will lose out on a valuable resource.

Energy Debate

Why is the debate so off the mark in terms of renewables vs nuclear tech? Neither will have an impact on the 97% of transportation energy that is oil based.

(Not sure I buy that we have the ability to immediately leap to plugin hybrids. )
