Workflow to Prototype Your House
Not that I’m even remotely close to purchasing land or building a home, but I do like to architecture and ‘protoype’ some ideas on furniture or buildings or communities in Sketch Up. It’s a great way to get some of that creative energy out and a fun/productive way of killing some time while listening to a book.
Anyway, build or find your model on Google’s 3d Warehouse. Download it. Plug it into Google Earth wherever you like. Amend the model as you go. Voila.
